Olympiad «Kazakh language connoisseur»

On May 17, 2024 department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages in order to increase the interest of foreign students to Kazakh language has organized and held an Olympiad "Kazakh language connoisseur".

The 1st year students took part in the Olympiad. Y.K. Salim, Vice-Rector of Educational Work and Social Issues of SKMA, made an introductory speech, thanked the participants of the competition for understanding Kazakh language and respect for our traditions and customs, and expressed his hope that students would use the acquired knowledge. He wished the participants of Olympiad good luck.

The jury was represented by the head of the Language Development Department of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University Zhamantaeva A.A., associate professors of the Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages department Kasymbekova A.N., Temirbekova G.K..

The winners of Olympiad were awarded diplomas, and the groups "Titans of Medicine", "Connoisseurs", "Future Doctors", who were active, received letters of gratitude and gifts on behalf of the department.
Language is the soul of a people, its priceless cradle, its honour, its source of inspiration, its Constitutionally protected voice of freedom. It is necessary for all of us to respect and cherish it.
