Nominees of the year have been determined

In April this year, the annual contest "Uzdik Zhastar-2020" was held, organized by the Department for social affairs and youth policy with the support of the student trade Union committee, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet, philosopher Abay Kunanbayev and the year of the volunteer.

The best of the best competed in the following categories:"The best group","The best group leader","The best student","The best master's student","The best volunteer","The best sportsman","The best graduate","The best information technology manager","The best debater","The best social media manager","The best organization","The best young scientist"," The best leader","The best 1st year student". The special feature of this event is that in the year of the volunteer in the category "The best volunteer" were awarded to three students who showed their high level of work during the year.

The main selection criteria were: academic performance, discipline, achievements of students at the national, regional and local levels. Members of the jury of the competition, which included activists of the youth organization "Bolashak", were given the opportunity to choose the best themselves. The event was held online via ZOOM. Applicants made out the competition documentation, put their photos and only then sent them to the vote.

The nominees were awarded diplomas and cash prizes in may. The winners were warmly congratulated by the head of the department for social affairs and youth policy, E. Salim, and wished them success in their studies and in the public life of the Academy.
