«Nauryz - holiday of spring renewal, unity and friendship»

Spring came, and Nauryz came - an ancient holiday, which means the day of the vernal equinox, the renewal of nature, the beginning of a new year and a new life. Nauryz - is the main holiday of the year, as the Kazakh people, and many Asian peoples, Nauryz is celebrated more than five thousand years.

Since 2001, Nauryz declared a national holiday. In 2010, the UNO adopted a resolution about recognition this holiday as the International Day of Nauryz on March 22.

Оn March 17 of this year, a festive event “Береке мен бірліктің, игілік пен теңдіктің туын көтерген – Наурыз” was held, it was organized by the students of the pharmaceutical, medical faculties and faculty of preparation of experts with technical vocational education. The holiday concert was jointly prepared by the Department of «Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry» and the Department of «Hygiene-1», as well as departments are: «Hygiene-2», «Тhe dental business», «Тechnology of  pharmaceutical production» and «Nursing».

Welcome and opening words of the festival were given to veterans of academy B.T. Mendibaev, Professor of Department of «Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry», N.Zh. Zhumabaev, dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and M.A. Otynshiev, dean of the Faculty of training specialists with technical vocational education, who spoke about the meeting of the New year on the eastern style - is the interpenetration of interests, impregnation of the spirit of collectivism and mutual assistance, training of pride for the family and friends, strengthen family relationships, as well as the unity of the whole nation. All these elements make friendship strong, activities - agreed. According to another - it is a holiday of peace and harmony, kindness and friendship.

Participants of the festival familiarized with the elements of national customs and traditions, transmitted by Kazakh people from generation to generation. Theatrical performances were followed by miniature virtuoso playing on national musical instruments, students performed sounds of Cui and folk melodies.

Guests of the holiday watched a demonstration of national ritual "Tusau-keser" with pleasure, students were performed folk dances and songs.

At the end of the holiday special for all guests a generous dastarkhan was served laden with dishes of Kazakh cuisine.

It must be remembered that the holiday Nauryz, passing from century to century, brings us happiness and well-being of living to our generations, gives them confidence in the future.
