Modern fundamentals of biological safety

On November 14, 2022, a seminar on the topic «Modern fundamentals of biological safety» was held at the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology among 5th-year students of the educational program «Medicine». The main purpose of the seminar is to ensure biological safety in the country, reduce and stabilize the infectious morbidity among the population. The senior lecturer of the department, L.O. Baikonsova, made an introductory speech. She told the students about the purpose of the seminar, about the modern basics of biological safety. The seminar was attended by 4 groups (В-ЖМҚA 05-18; В-ЖМҚБ 05-18; В-ЖМҚA 06-18; В-ЖМҚБ 06-18) with a total of 51 students. Students of group В-ЖМҚA 06-18, В-ЖМҚ 06-18 made presentations, «Goals and objectives of organizations providing biological safety of the Republic of Kazakhstan» Kenenbayeva B., «Modern tasks and goals of biosafety» Esen S., «Biological safety. Definition, history of development» Ziyatbek U. At the end of the seminar, Kuanysh Zhasulan, a student of the В-ЖМҚБ 06-18 group, outlined on paper the difficulties he faced during the pandemic, read out poems that he called «Coronavirus».
