Minister of Health A. Giniyat - at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Giniyat visited Shymkent on a business trip in the third decade of July and visited a number of medical institutions. Among them, she got acquainted with the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
A.Giniyat together with the rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy M.M.Rysbekov visited the laboratory of genomic research of the Academy, whose employees conduct applied and fundamental research. PCR systems have been developed to determine the activity of genes (diagnosis of tuberculosis, brucellosis, pharmacogenetics of tuberculosis).

The first head of the university noted the importance of clinical studies of hereditary diseases of the Southern region, such as Enzyme immunoassay, biochemical, cytogenetic studies.
M.M.Rysbekov focused on such priority areas of the laboratory as cardiogenetics, oncogenetics and sportgenetics, the development of diagnostic methods in nutrition genetics.
Also, the chief doctor of the country got acquainted with the work of the modern computer testing center of the Academy, visited the museum, where documents and exhibits are stored, revealing the highlights of the history of the university.
The Minister of Health noted the importance of training qualified specialists in medicine.
