Meeting with veterans on the theme «Ardagerlerdi ardaktaiyk»

On February 15, 2024 the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy and the party "AMANAT" in the framework of the patriotic project "Ardagerlerdi ardaktaiyk" held a meeting with the veterans of our city. The meeting was attended by acting secretary of the Shymkent city branch of the party" AMANAT B. Tulegenov, chairman of the Shymkent city Union of Veterans of Afghanistan and local wars G. Maihanov. Maykhanov, veteran of the Afghan war A. Mamytbekov, teachers and students of the Morphology Department.
The purpose of the meeting is the interaction of veterans and youth, strengthening of patriotic education, formation of a dialog platform and continuity of generations, as well as strengthening solidarity, patriotism, respect for the elderly and traditions in society.

In turn, the guests noted that the Afghan war lasted 10 years, the soldiers-internationalists went through all the hardships of war, courageously and selflessly, heroically fighting, fulfilled their tasks, many were lucky to return home. Today they meet with student youth of colleges and universities of Shymkent, remembering those hard years.

As it was noted by those present that they are obliged to remember the soldiers-internationalists who took part in the Afghan war, their feats and heroism are not forgotten, that patriotic education of young people begins in schools and universities, where they get a specialty and leave the walls as established individuals.
