Meeting on the topic: "Safety rules for the use of gas in everyday life"

On December 3, 2021, the Department for Social Affairs and Youth Policy of the SKMA held a meeting with employees of the Shymkent production branch of KAZTRANSGAS AIMAK JSC to explain the safety rules for the use of gas in everyday life. The meeting was attended by employees of the Shymkent production branch of KAZTRANSGAS AIMAK JSC, employees of the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy, students of the Academy.
The event was opened by the head of the Department for Social Affairs and Youth Policy of SKMA E. Salim. The meeting was attended by the head of the Shymkent gas technical inspection F. H. Urkimbayev, the head of the emergency dispatch service of the Shymkent production branch of KAZTRANSGAS AIMAK JSC B. Baytoreev and the specialist of the Al-Farabi district Emergency Management M.S. Berik.

The Academy students were told by the staff of the Shymkent production branch of KAZTRANSGAS AIMAK JSC what to do if you smell gas in a building, room, entrance of a house or on the street. In case of a gas smell, it is necessary to turn off all gas equipment, ventilate the room, no one should smoke nearby, light matches, do not use fire or electric lighting, it is forbidden to use switches and household appliances, stand in the fresh air and contact the emergency emergency service – 104.

The students of the Academy expressed gratitude to the staff of the Shymkent production branch of KAZTRANSGAS AIMAK JSC for clarifying information about home security measures, security conditions and the possibility of avoiding it.
