Meeting on the theme: "16 days of non-violence"

On November 25, 2021 in the large conference hall of SKMA department of social affairs and youth policy and KSU "Center of special social services № 3" of Department of Employment and Social Protection of Shymkent city was held a meeting with students on the theme "Action 16 days without violence". Mutalieva G. S, theologian Omarbaev B. employees of the Youth Policy Department of the SKMA and students participated in the meeting.

The event was initiated by B. Omarbaev, a theologian of the KGU "Special Social Services Centre No.3" of the Employment and Social Protection Department of Shymkent city, who noted the purpose of the event. The main goal is to work on prevention and suppression of domestic violence.

The guest of the meeting Mutalieva G.S., social specialist of the State Institution "Center for Special Social Services № 3" of the Employment and Social Protection Department of Shymkent city noted that one of the current problems is domestic violence. According to experts, family quarrels are often provoked by bad habits, material shortages, jealousy and discrimination against each other. At the same time, our centre provides psychological, moral and legal assistance to all who ask for help. Such NGOs and crisis centres have now joined forces with the police authorities. In this way, they have announced that they intend to defend the rights of women and children.

Summing up the event, B. Omarbaev, a theologian of the State Institution "Center for Special Social Services № 3" of the Employment and Social Protection Department of Shymkent city, noted that in the Islamic religion it is very common to treat girls with respect, to respect their parents, and to study well.
