Meeting on "Prevention of destructive religious trends"

On March 17, 2023 in the large assembly hall of the SKMA a meeting was held with students on "Prevention of the influence of destructive religious movements", organized by the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy and KSU "Center for the Study of Religious Affairs" of the Department of Religious Affairs of Shymkent. The meeting was attended by a theologian specialist Ualikhan Samat Shokanovich of the KGU "Center for Study of Religious Problems" of the Department of Religious Affairs of Shymkent, a specialist of the Youth Resource Center of Shymkent Rauan Kypshakbaev, employees of the youth policy department of SKMA and students.
The moderator of this event was a specialist of the Youth Resource Center of Shymkent Rauan Kypshakbaev, who noted the purpose of the event.
In his turn, the guest of the meeting, Ualikhan Samat Shokanovich, a theologian from the Center for Study of Religious Problems, a KSU Religious Affairs Department of Shymkent, told the students about the methods of prevention of destructive religious trends and methods of counteraction.
Summing up the event, the specialist urged students to avoid religious denominations and to learn, saying that modernity is in the hands of the educated.
