Meeting of the faculty of the Department of OMPB and students of the 5rd year with a representative of the Pharmaceutical control Committee

On November 24, 2021, Sabyr Gulnur Abylkairovna, Chief Specialist of the Department of Pharmaceutical Activity Control and Monitoring of Prices for Medicines and Medical Products of the Department of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Turkestan region, held an online lecture on the ZOOM platform on the topic "Topical issues of practical pharmacy" at the Department of the Department of Pharmaceutical Control.

The lecture was attended by 5th year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the teaching staff of the Department of Organization and Management of Pharmaceutical Business, and the seminar was also attended by employees of ЕMC Khalikova R.O.

At the lecture, the rules for conducting pharmaceutical inspections on appropriate pharmaceutical practices were announced in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 27, 2021 No. 9 "On approval of the Rules for conducting pharmaceutical inspections on appropriate pharmaceutical practices". In particular, from 2023 all pharmacies of the Republic of Kazakhstan should work according to these standards. The advantage of this standard is to ensure the availability of non-falsified drugs on the pharmaceutical market.

Gulnur Abylkairovna in her statement stressed that the purpose of Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) is to ensure the proper quality of pharmaceutical services provided by pharmaceutical workers to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, providing the population with high-quality, safe medicines and medical products; providing reliable information about the drug; promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention, ensuring the rational use of prescription drugs; influence on the prescribing and use of medications; providing information about the side effects of medications that have occurred and providing assistance with self-medication.
