Meeting of foreign scientists from the UK and Russia at the SKMA

On November 9, this year, the rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy M. M. Rysbekov met with the participants of the International scientific and practical Conference "Actual issues of clinical neurology and psychiatry", O.V. Kamayeva -associate professor of the Department nervous diseases of the First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg, Henry Holden - BSc (Hons), PhD, MD, MRCP, Professor of Neurology and Neurogenetics, UCL Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London, R.B. Kairzhanov - BSc (Hons), MSc, MD, PhD fellow Department of Neuromuscular disorders, Institute of Neurology, University College London, Queen Square (Great Britain).
M.M.Rysbekov thanked the scientists for participating in the scientific forum of neurologists, which is being held with the support of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, state health authorities, and the medical community. Such a large-scale event is annually organized by the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Neurosurgery of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, headed by Professor, Lead neurologist (not staff) of the Department of Public Health of Turkestan region N.A.Zharkinbekova. 
He also spoke about the history of the university, which has a 40-year history of its development, about the training of medical and pharmaceutical personnel. He briefly outlined the prospects for the development of the academy, taking into account the investment project approved by the Ministry on the construction of a multidisciplinary university clinic, which was launched in October.
Foreign guests Kamayeva O.V., Henry Holden, R.B. Kayyrzhanov spoke about the importance of international cooperation in the field of medicine, which allows you to exchange experience, the results of clinical trials, share the current situation.

The International Conference will be held in Rixos Khadisha Shymkent for two days - November 10-11, 2022. The conference program includes issues of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases of the nervous system, both pediatric and adult neurology. Speakers from near and far abroad will present interesting clinical cases, get acquainted with modern achievements in the discussed areas and practical skills.
