Meeting in NIS with high school students on the topic «My profession is a doctor

The head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Professor G.N. Abuova and the assistant of the department, D.K. Sadykova, at the invitation of the leadership of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, held a meeting with high school students on the topic «My profession is a doctor».

In a warm and constructive atmosphere, the teachers of the SCMA told about the prestige and demand for the profession of a doctor, about how training takes place in medical universities of the country, about the peculiarities of the work of infectious diseases specialists, told about the broad opportunities of medical students, shared personal success stories in the profession. Numerous questions of schoolchildren were answered, as well as prospects for further scientific cooperation on individual projects of NIS students were outlined.
