May 12 is the International Day of the Nurse

On May 16, 2023, the Medical college at JSC "YUKMA" together with the Department of Nursing organized a solemn event dedicated to the International Day of the Nurse.
The event was attended by chief and senior nurses of medical institutions of the city of Shymkent: "City Clinical Hospital No. 1", "City Clinical Hospital No. 2", "Regional Clinical Hospital", Medical Center "ER-ANA".

An exhibition was organized at the beginning of the event. The theme of the exhibition was dedicated to the achievements of students and teaching staff of the TS "Nursing" in the field of science, innovation and education, scientific publications, textbooks, diplomas, medals and others were presented.

Vice-Rector for Educational, Methodical and Educational Work, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Anartayeva Maria Ulasbekkyzy congratulated nurses on their professional holiday, noting deep respect and gratitude.I also handed them letters of thanks for their selfless work, for the ability to find an approach and give a helping hand.

Invited to the event, the chief specialist of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education, Strategic Analysis and Digital Technologies Toktybai Z.N. expressed warm and sincere wishes to the nurses.

The head of the Department of "Nursing" Serikova B.D. made a report on the topic "Training of nursing specialists in the field of healthcare at the middle level", she noted the peculiarities of training students of the EP "Nursing", the importance of clinical nursing manuals, training with electronic platforms in nursing and the effectiveness of work carried out jointly with mentors, also achievements of students of the EP "Nursing".

Also, the students of the EP "Nursing" staged a stage performance on the theme "A story from the life of a nurse that she will remember for a long time". 

The director of the Medical College at JSC "YUKMA" A.M. Kushkarova congratulated the nurses on their professional holiday and thanked them for their interaction, revenue, and pleasant cooperation.

Students of the medical college performed songs, showed videos on the topic of nurse kindness and held a flash mob on the topic of "Nursing care".
