"May 12 is the International Day of the Nurse"

On May 12, 2022, the Medical college at JSC "SKMA" together with the Department of Nursing held a festive event for the day of nurses - "May 12 is the International Day of Nurses". The event was attended by nurses of medical institutions of Shymkent: "City Clinical Hospital №1", "City Clinical Hospital № 2", "Regional Clinical Hospital", "City Polyclinic № 3", "City Polyclinic № 13" " Heart Center Shymkent " and TOO "QAMQOR GR".
To congratulate the nurses, the word was given to the rector of JSC "SKMA", Professor M. Rysbekov.

Rector of JSC "SKMA" Professor Rysbekov Myrzabek Myrzashevich presented letters of thanks to all nurses for their services in the field of medicine.

The report was made by the head of the Department of Nursing Serikova B.Zh. on the topic "Development of a new model of nursing in the Republic of Kazakhstan", she noted the importance of clinical nursing manuals, training with electronic platforms in nursing and the effectiveness of the work carried out jointly with mentors.

Also, the senior nurse Medetbekova Zh.E. made a report on the topic: "Innovations in nursing at the Shymkent Heart Center" and noted the importance and role of new technologies in the work of nursing specialists.

The director of the Medical College at JSC "SKMA" Kushkarova A.M. congratulated nurses on their professional holiday-the International Day of the nurse.

Invited to the event, the chief nurse of the regional clinical hospital, Muratbekova K.A. expressed warm wishes to the nurses.

Also, the teachers of the Department of "Nursing" staged M.Mahatayev's stage performance "No, doctor", sang songs. Students of the medical college at JSC "SKMA" held a flash mob on the topic "Hand hygiene".
