Master class in the framework of the national educational program «Nursing»

In Nur-Sultan on November 4-8, 2019 on the basis of the Higher medical College passed the training master class: «Training of trainers with in the framework of the national educational program for mentors «Nursing» with the involvement of international experts of HAMK and LAMK universities (Finland).

The master class was attended by assistant of the Department of "Emergency medical care and nursing" Serikova B. D. The seminar was held: expert in institutionalization of clinical training nursing specialists Ms. Paulovica-Aaltonen, MSC (education of health workers), license in the field of education, a registered nurse, HAMK University of applied Sciences; expert on the institutionalization of clinical nursing training Ms. Virpi Liljestrem, master of science (medical education), registered nurse, LAMK University of applied Sciences.

The seminar was attended by teachers of medical universities, higher medical colleges, mentors of clinical bases-nurses.

The main purpose of the seminar is to support and promote the work of coaches-mentors and their training in issues of outreach and further development of education for mentors in the field of evidence-based nursing practice in Kazakhstan. The main task is to develop the competence of coaches in the training of mentors, further improving the content and quality of training mentors.

The seminar consisted of the following sections:

•  Introduction to mentoring in nursing education in Kazakhstan

•  Effective training in clinical practice

•  Assessment of students in clinical practice

•  Evidence-based nursing and ethics in clinical practice

•  Educational program for mentors in Kazakhstan
