Master-class in applied bachelor’s degree program

From April 3rd to 7th, 2017 in Almaty at the premises of Republican Higher Medical College there was held a master- class on the theme: “Procedure, pre-defence and defence of graduation work. Focus on methodology and research in nursing”. 

The following teachers of the Department “Nursing with the course of anesthesiology and critical care medicine” took part in this event: U.A. Khodzhakulova, B.D. Serikova and G.Zh. Isabayeva. The lecturer Zhanar Saylaubekovna Shalkharova headed the seminar.

The master - class was visited by the representatives of colleges: State Communal Enterprise “Higher Medical College” of Astana Akimat, LLP “Republican Medical College” of Almaty, “Talgar Medical College” of Regional Health Department (Almaty), “Taldykorgan Medical College”, “West- Kazakhstan Higher Medical College”, “Kyzylorda Higher Medical College”, “Turkestan Multidisciplinary Medical College”, “Turkestan Medical College”, SI “Public Health Department of North - Kazakhstan region”,“Shymkent Medical College”,“Karaganda Medical College”, “Kokshetau Medical College”.

This master - class was focused on such aspects as:

The role of supervisor in procedure, pre-defence and defence of graduation work. The connection of graduation works’ themes with research areas of Higher College. The concept of quantitative and qualitative research. The formulation of research question. Search for information on the Internet. Types of designs for quantitative research.

Principles of the development and analysis of questionnaires and forms for quantitative and qualitative research. The basic principles of presenting research results in graduation works, publications, theses, reports.
