Literary and creative evening "Children's literature - Baiterek"

As part of the "One Country, One Book" campaign, it was proposed to introduce future youth to the works of Berdibek Sokpakbayev, a classic of children's literature, whose 100th anniversary is celebrated by UNESCO in 2024.
On 02/14/2024, a literary and creative evening dedicated to the work of Berdibek Sokpakbayev on the theme "The Book of Children's Literature" was held in the Pushkin Universal Library with the support of the educational department of the SKMA, the Department of "History of Kazakhstan and Socio-Social Disciplines".
The purpose of the event is to familiarize with the life and work of the classic of Kazakh literature Berdibek Sokpakbayev, to develop the interest of young people in reading books, to develop skills of artistic expression of their thinking abilities, to foster patriotism.
Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, singer Abylaikhan Ospanov, literary heroes of our region M. Abdakimuly, Z. Kystaubai, S. Isaak B. took part in the creative evening. Students of school No. 127 of our city and students of the 1st year of the educational programs "Dentistry" and "Medicine" of the YUKMA took part in the event and revealed the role of B. Sokpakbayev in modern literature, demonstrating a beautiful staging from the work "My name is Leather". An exhibition dedicated to the work of B.Sokpakbayev was also organized there, which clearly shows the writer's life path.
In addition, the students talked about why they prefer the profession of a doctor as a defender of human health and life.
Senior lecturer of the department Ibragimova Akmaral Zhamalovna and students of group B-Stk-04-23 Nametan Bakhdaulet, Bekmurat Balzhan, Hamitzhan Alikhan were awarded certificates of appreciation for their active participation in the organization of the literary evening.
