Kazakhstan is our common home!

On March 1st, 2024, a festive concert “Kazakhstan is our common home!” was held at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, dedicated to Gratitude Day.
The event was organized by the Department of Medical Biophysics and Information Technologies, in accordance with the department’s educational work plan.
Students, teachers and representatives of the SKMA administration gathered in the festively decorated hall. The head of the department, M.B. Ivanova, delivered a welcoming speech. She congratulated colleagues and students on the holiday and noted its importance for the consolidation of modern Kazakh society. Professor K.Zh. Kudabaev also congratulated those present.
The Gratitude Day is the day of patriotism, cultural diversity and friendship between all the citizens of Kazakhstan regardless of their ethnicity.

Participants in the concert program were foreign students of the EP “Medicine” and Kazakh students of the EP “Pharmaceutical Production Technology”. The festive program surprised with its diversity: foreign students performed the Kazakh folk dance “Kara Zhorga” and the classical Indian dance “Manipuri”, as well as modern fiery Indian dances and songs. Students of the curatorial groups of the EP “Pharmaceutical Production Technology” superbly performed Kazakh and Uzbek national dances, a kyui and a song in the Kazakh language were performed.
The invited guests emphasized the professionalism and talent of the participants in the concert program also noted the importance of the educational work carried out with students.
