INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL the conference

On October 16, 2021, the international scientific and practical conference "COVID - 19: YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW" was held at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino (Bukhara, Uzbekistan). The organizers of the conference are Bukhara State Medical Institute and Ukrainian Medical Academy (Kiev, Ukraine).
The conference was attended by speakers from Poland, Kazakhstan, Russia, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, 100 doctors from Ukraine participated in an offline format.

Rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, Teshaev Shukhrat Dzhumayevich in for the significant contribution to the development of mutual cooperation and increasing the intellectual potential of the Institute, presented diplomas of honorary professor and awarded the badge of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino to the head of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology Seitkhanova Bibigul Tolegenovna and the head of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Nursing Seidakhmetova Aizat Ashimkhanovna. Seitkhanova Bibigul Tolegenovna made a welcoming speech, thanked the rector for such honorary awards, presented a Kazakh panel to the museum of the Institute, congratulated the organizers on holding an actual conference and wished fruitful work.

The main purpose of the conference was to exchange scientific, best practices, opinions on the relationship of scientific achievements and innovative processes in the field of etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation issues with COVID-19. The main topics discussed at the conference were: topical issues of COVID-19 at the primary health care level, in children, adults; current issues of prevention, rehabilitation of COVID - 19; treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases in the era of COVID-19; COVID-19 at the intersection of science and practice.
The head of the Department of Emergency Medical Care and Nursing, A.A. Seidakhmetova, made a report: "Postcovid syndrome in comorbid patients." Lecturer of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology Tolegen A.N. made a report: "Microbial diversity in elder patients diagnosed with SARS CoV-2". The moderator of the conference noted the actuality of the reports, which is very important when a young teacher reports research results in English.

During the conference, A.A. Seydakhmetova gave an interview to the republican television "Akhborat". The moderator of the conference, Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases and Resuscitation of the Bukhara State Medical Institute, MD Abdurakhmanov Mamur Mustafaevich noted the informative reports that demonstrated the experience of the relationship of scientific achievements and innovative processes in the field of etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation issues with COVID-19.
After the conference, a visit was organized and familiarization with the work, modern equipment of advanced clinics in Bukhara – South Korean "Hospital Himchan" specializing in rehabilitation and "Camron".
