International scientific and practical seminar on the problems of forensic chemical examination of new psychoactive substances

The Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry of SKMA took part in an international scientific and practical seminar on the problems of forensic chemical examination of new psychoactive substances, organized by the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
The seminar discussed the results of research from leading pharmaceutical and medical universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as practical workers of the forensic medical examination bureau and chemical-toxicological laboratories on the problems of using medicines for non-medical purposes.
The reports of scientists from the Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor T.L. Malkova, Associate Professor of the Department of Toxicological Chemistry P.S. Mashchenko were relevant. on organizational and methodological aspects of conducting expert studies of new psychoactive substances seized on the territory of the Russian Federation, a retrospective of the main “waves” of new psychoactive substances in the Russian Federation using the example of the work of the regional testing center (RTC) “Pharmatest”.

The report of junior researchers of the scientific department of the RIC "Pharmatest" PGFA Andreev A. was devoted to the issues of the relationship between the behavioral and metabolic response in laboratory animals exposed to cannabimimetics MDMB(N)-073F and the peculiarities of the metabolism of synthetic cannabinoids RV-22, RV-22F in the urine of laboratory animals. I., Apushkina D.Yu.
The results of scientific research on the development of sample preparation, identification and quantitative analysis of pregabalin isolated from a biofluid were reported in detail by A.D. Serikbaeva, associate professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry of the Academy. The introduction of the results of chemical and toxicological studies of toxicologically important substances into the state register of forensic research methods aroused great interest among the audience.

Cases of poppy poisoning in forensic chemical practice, thin-layer chromatography in the analysis of tropicamide, determination of tetrahydrocannabinol metabolite in urine were reported by the head of the chemical and toxicological department of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Forensic Medicine Primukhamedova Kh.I., associate professors of the Department of Toxicological Chemistry of TashPharmI Nurmatova M. U., Abdukhalikova N.U. and etc.

In the process of analyzing the current problems of forensic chemical examination of new psychoactive substances, the seminar participants formulated possible ways to solve them.
