International Scientific and Practical Conference "Interdisciplinary Neurology"

On November 9-10, 2023, the traditional international scientific and practical conference "Interdisciplinary Neurology" was held in Shymkent.
The organizers of the event were
South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Neurosurgery. Leading speakers from the UK, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan were invited to the conference. The issues of myasthenia gravis, myopathy, epilepsy, neurorehabilitation and neurological care were considered.
At the same time, this year's conference also addressed the topics of interdisciplinary problems.
Reports of the following residents were presented from the Department of Phthisiopulmonology and Radiology:

Nurbaykyzy Zh. "Review of epilepsy and MRI studies in epilepsy". Scientific supervisor: Seitova A. A.
Abildayeva M.S. "Peripheral polyneuropathy in tuberculosis patients". Supervisor: Kasaeva L.T. The work was awarded a diploma of the II degree in the competition of young scientists within the framework of the conference.
The participants of the event actively participated in discussions on issues and discussed pressing issues with experts, which will undoubtedly bring practical benefits to the participants, resident doctors in their further work.
