International Scientific and Practical Conference in Andijan

On 22-23 September in Andijan hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Modern problems of infectology, epidemiology, microbiology and medical parasitology», which was attended by the rector of the SKMA, Professor M. M. Rysbekov, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology PhD, Professor G. N. Abuova, Associate Professor F. A. Berdalieva. The organizers of the conference were the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Andijan State Medical Institute, Tashkent Medical Academy. The participants-well-known scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the issues of coronavirus infection COVID-19, as well as the problems of other most urgent, socially significant infectious diseases. M. M. Rysbekov made a welcoming speech from the SKMA, wished success to the participants of the conference. The report of G. N. Abuova was devoted to the experience of managing COVID-19 in pregnant women in our country, and F. A. Berdalieva reported on the difficulties of differential diagnosis of Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever. Close scientific cooperation of scientists from the CIS countries will be continued in the future to strengthen the integration of research and educational activities of universities.
