International Scientific and Practical conference: «Cognitive disorders: priority areas in diagnosis, therapy and prevention»

On September 8, 2023, the NPJSC «Medical University of Karaganda» together with the Association «NEIRON» organized an International scientific and practical conference: «Cognitive disorders: priority areas in diagnosis, therapy and prevention. Geriatric patient: Active longevity», which took place in a mixed format.
Leading domestic and foreign experts presented the latest methods of diagnosis, therapy, rehabilitation and prevention, introduced modern technologies in the field of cognitive sphere, presented the latest developments in the field of cognitive functions research, they also shared invaluable research experience.
The purpose of the conference: exchange of experience, discussion of current trends in the field of cognitive impairment, identification of problems and ways to solve them.
The head of the Department of «Emergency Medicine and Nursing», Seidakhmetova Aizat Ashimkhanovna, made an online report: “Monitoring the condition of geriatric patients in outpatient settings», shared the results of the research.
A school of young scientists was organized as part of the conference. PhD, Master's, and bachelor's students made interesting presentations.
PhD student, assistant of the Department of «Emergency Medicine and Nursing» Khojakulova Umida Abdyvalyevna made a report: «Cognitive rehabilitation of geriatric patients at the PHC level», was awarded the honorary first place and awarded a diploma of the first degree.
The actual reports of the participants aroused positive emotions among the listeners and the jury board. Participants who took 1-3 places were awarded with diplomas of 1-3 degrees.
At the end of the conference, all participants received certificates.
