International internship program by “Bolashak”

In the addressing “Kazakhstan in the new global reality: growth, reform and development” the President marked the task of mass-staff investment in human capital. A special place in the strategic document devoted to the program of professionalization of domestic personnel. One of these prestigious programs is training of the teaching staff at leading universities abroad, organized by the Center for International Programs “Bolashak”.

From March 13 to April 12, 2016 S.K. Ordabayeva – the head of the department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry, was an intern in the specialty “Management in Education” on the basis of the Technical University of Berlin (TUB, Germany).

Faculty members of TUB held lectures and theoretical and practice-oriented training in the field of higher education management and development of integration processes. In addition to exploring the educational process in high schools and universities in Germany, issues such as scientific communication, internationalization of higher education, the theory of inventive problem solving, communication, etc. were covered at the classes.

There were study visits to enterprises for the purpose of exploring the technology of the production process at the BMW factory, energy companies, industrial parks with innovative energy technologies and modernization of traditional energy sources and processes, with the creation and implementation of “smart” technologies through the creation and operation of the Smart Energy House.

We visited and got acquainted with the activities of the international brothers Humboldt University and the Berlin office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which are based on the personal contacts of paramount willing to cooperate with German scientists and professors.

As a result of the internship, scientific and pedagogical project has been prepared.

The cultural program was interesting as well. The interns paid tribute to a famous Alash-Orda member - M. Shokai, they visited the sights of

Berlin: a monument to Soviet soldiers who fell in the Great Patriotic War, the Berlin Wall, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, the museum of communications, etc.
