International Family Day

In May 15, 2015 in the hostel of SKSPhA there was held a “round” table dedicated to International Family Day;it was organized by Youth Center together with the Department “Hygiene-1, Physical training with Valeology”, the 3^rd and 4^th year students took part in this event under the motto “Family  is health, longevity and continuity of generations”.

The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev noted in his Letter to the Nation “NurlyZhol” dated from November11, 2014 “... What is stability and harmony? It means family well-being, safety, shelter. The world is joy of fatherhood and motherhood, parents’ health and happiness of our children. World is a stable job, salary and confidence in the future. Peace and stability are public property that must be daily protected and strengthened”.

International Family Day is celebrated annually on May 15^th. Declared by UN General Assembly resolution in 1993, the Day reflects the emphasis of international community to the problems of family. It offered an opportunity to raise awareness of issues relating to families and to deepen the knowledge of socio-economic and demographic processes affecting the situation of families.

The family as a basic element of society has been and remains the guardian of human values, culture and historical continuity of generations, a factor of stability and development. Due to the family,the state is growing and developing, the welfare of people is increasing!
