Innovative ideas of young researchers
The Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry held the II International Poster Competition "Innovative Ideas of Young Researchers" with the participation of partner universities. The competition was attended by students, masters of pharmacy and PhD doctors of pharmaceutical universities in India - College Of Pharmacy (Ooty), Academy of Higher Education & Research (Ooty), First Moscow State Medical University I. M. Sechenov (Moscow, RF), Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa, RF), Kyrgyz State Medical Academy by I. K. Akhunbaev (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), Tajik State Medical University by Abu Ali Ibni Sino (Dushanbe, Tajikistan) and the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
The purpose of the competition is to demonstrate the results of research activities of young scientists in the field of pharmaceutical science. The areas of scientific research of the contest participants were diverse: innovative technologies in pharmacy, development of new drugs, molecular mechanisms of action of drugs, standardization of drugs and medicinal plant materials, screening studies to determine the pharmacological activity of drugs, problems of nutrition, marketing research of drugs, chemical and toxicological analysis of toxicologically important substances.
The competition was held offline and online - for foreign participants on the Zoom site. The competition received about 60 poster presentations. Preliminary poster reports were sent to the jury members from leading experts in the field of medicine and pharmacy. The jury members evaluated the poster reports according to the following criteria: relevance and purpose of the study, scientific novelty and practical significance, the quality of the poster report (visibility, creativity, presentability), the degree of knowledge of the material (questions and answers, the ability to discuss, etc.).
During the conference, the tasks of the authors and their speakers included a lively discussion with the jury members and those present, as well as answering questions and additional comments.
After the speeches of all participants, the jury members discussed the results and made a final decision for the organizing committee. Chairman of the jury, Professor Dosybayeva G.N. announced the results of the competition and the names of the winners. All participants of the competition received certificates of participation indicating the supervisor, and the winners received diplomas of I, II and III degrees, as well as a special prize in the nomination "Future Nobel Laureate".
At the end of the competition, the participants and their leaders shared their impressions, noted the high level of organization and holding of the international forum.
Participants were able to show their scientific ideas and projects, as well as improve their public speaking and information technology skills.
