I International Conference " Integration network of the Pharmaceutical Ecology in the Modern environment - 2023"

On November 14-16, 2023 at the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia (Sechenov University) jointly with the National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" (NRU MEPhI) and the Kaluga Pharmaceutical Cluster Association hosted the international scientific conference "Integration network of the Pharmaceutical Ecology in the Modern environment - 2023". The conference is dedicated to the memory of Academician A.P. Arzamastsev.

The conference was held on the ZOOM platform and offline format, which was attended by representatives from different countries.
The main purpose of the conference is to create an international discussion scientific and educational platform for solving problems related to ensuring environmentally safe pharmaceutical production, studying and restoring the base of medicinal plants and the production of medicines of natural origin, as well as issues of environmental education in the interests of sustainable development.
At the breakout session "Modern ecological aspects in the research of medicinal plants and the creation of medicines of natural origin", the head of the Department of Pharmacognosy, ass.professor Orynbasarova K.K. made her report on the topic: "Medicinal plants: the unique flora of Kazakhstan".

Youth Section: With a poster presentation in English on the topic: "Microbiological purity of fenugreek cultivated in the conditions of the Turkestan region as an indicator of the safety of use" was delivered by Abilova A.A., a master's student of the second year of study, the moderator of the conference noted the relevance of the report, noting that it is very important that young scientists report research results at international conferences. She also wished further success in her research work.

The conference was held at a high level, topical issues were discussed about the development strategy of the pharmaceutical industry until 2030, modern environmental aspects in the research of medicinal plants, the organization of sanitary and hygienic and environmental control at each stage of the life cycle of a drug, radiation safety in nuclear medicine and challenges in personnel training.
Russian and foreign scientists and pharmaceutical industry experts were able to discuss problematic issues, create new collaborations to achieve strategic plans in the field of pharmaceutical ecology.
