«HIV/ AIDS» prevention

On May 10, 2024, the Department of General Education, with the participation of Nazira Zhurgenbayeva, a specialist of the Shymkent City Health Department, and Gulmira Palkhozhaeva, a specialist of the KSU Youth Resource Center, held a meeting with college students in the TEDx format on the topic "Prevention of HIV/AIDS infection". Purpose: distancing from the diseases of the century with an explanation of the meaning of the word HIV/AIDS; prevention of malignant diseases, explanation of the ways of their transmission, protection against them. To educate the consciousness of teenagers so that they do not suffer from the disease of the century, without becoming negative. The experts explained to the students that HIV/AIDS is the main problem of modern humanity, and urged them to avoid the bad habit as much as possible. During the meeting, the students watched the presentation, videos and received answers to their questions.
