Famous scientists from Russia and Turkey S.N. Illarioshkin and Oscar Djidem were awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of SKMA"

On November 10-11, Rixos Khadisha Shymkent hosts a two-day international scientific and practical conference "Actual issues of clinical neurology and psychiatry" with the participation of leading scientists from Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
Before the beginning of the Plenary session, the head of the Department of scientific and clinical work, PhD doctoral and master's programs A.A. Zhaksylyk presented the floor to the Rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy M.M.Rysbekov.

The first head of the university M.M. Rysbekov acquainted the participants of the scientific forum with the decisions of the Academic Council on awarding the titles of "Honorary professor" - Deputy Director for Research of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Scientific Center of Neurology", Director of the Institute of the Brain of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Scientific Center of Neurology", Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology Sergey Nikolaevich Illarioshkin (Moscow) and PhD, Professor of the Department of Neurology at the University of Cherrahpasa, member of the ILAE Educational Commission and tutor of the VIREPA course, as well as among the organizers of the EPODES-Epilepsy Surgery course ILAE Oscara Djedem (Istanbul).
M.M.Rysbekov noted the need to expand international cooperation in the field of medicine between the countries, the contribution of scientists to the diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from neurological diseases and familiarization with the results of scientific research at conferences and symposiums.
Academician S.N.Illarioshkin thanked the organizers of the conference for the invitation, for conferring the honorary title of professor of the SKMA, noted the importance of medicine, which erases all boundaries, wished everyone health and success.

From the rostrum of the conference, Oscara Djedem emphasized the role of the medical community in a world shaken by climate change, wars, conflicts. What is very important today is to preserve the health of the population all over the planet, despite the pandemic of coronavirus infection, which claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and left its imprint on the post-ovoid syndrome among adults and children.

The International Conference will be held in Rixos Khadisha Shymkent for two days. The conference program includes issues of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases of the nervous system, both pediatric and adult neurology. Speakers from near and far abroad will present interesting clinical cases, get acquainted with modern achievements in the discussed areas and practical skills.
