Eternal country Kazakhstan – life in a common home!

On February 29, 2016 at the Academy Hall there was held a festive event “Eternal country Kazakhstan - life in a common home!” dedicated to March 1^st – the Day of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and “Thanksgiving Day”. The event was organized by Youth policy department and with the participation of the Department of «History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines» and the organization “Public consent” of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The event was visited by the Academy administration; Seitzhan Suyerkululy Asilov, a specialist of the department of education, youth policy and languages of South – Kazakhstan region; Y.Zh. Utegenov, the Head of the organization “Public consent” of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

There was organized an exhibition of folk costumes and dishes, the guests familiarized with the cultural traditions of the Kazakhs, the Turks, the Kirghiz, the Tatars, the Uzbeks, the Georgians, the Koreans, the Uighurs. This exhibition, prepared by students, was estimated by the jury, who awarded the nominations “The best dish”, “The best costume”, “The best ethnographer”, “The best dastarkhan”, “The best group”. Uzbek, Russian students shared their views, and the young poet K. Iyemberdiyev read a poem. The audience liked the songs and dances of ethnic centers.

A “round” table was held at the Academy Hall, it was organized by the course of Kazakh and Latin languages. It was dedicated to “Thanksgiving Day”. There was discussed the history of other ethnic groups, who were forcibly deported during the Stalin repressions.

The event will be shown on television «Otyrar», «Kazakhstan-Shymkent» (the amount of students covered - 350 people).
