DUAL TRAINING – GUARANTEE OF FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

As part of the cooperation of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry of the Academy with JSC “Khimpharm”, since 2014, dual training has been provided for final year students of the educational program “Pharmacy” in the discipline “Standardization of Medicines and Metrology”.
The goal of dual education is to form highly qualified graduates with the necessary level of professional competencies. Thus, students have an excellent opportunity to gain the necessary experience in their field, and employers can select personnel from among the best students.

During the period from 09.26.2023 to 12.12.2023 (12 weeks), the training group V-FOB-04-19 underwent dual training in the quality control department and the production workshop of parenteral liquid medicines of this enterprise.
The department provided the entire educational and methodological complex of the discipline and created comfortable conditions for the work of the study group on the basis of the production association.
Of particular interest to the students was practical work on quality control and stability research of medicines, as well as the development of regulatory documents - quality specifications for pharmaceutical products. Department employees who worked with students noted the high level of theoretical training and practical skills of students in the field of quality control of medicines.

The teaching staff of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry notes the high level of organization and clear work to create favorable conditions for students to undergo dual training in the enterprise and expresses gratitude to L.N. Lunina - Head of the laboratory of finished products, Ibragimova D.R. - Head of the HPLC sector, Ignatenko D.S. - Head of Workshop No. 1 of parenteral and oral liquid medicines, L.A. Sultanova - Leading chemist of workshop No. 1 of parenteral and oral liquid medicines, Ledeneva Y.R. – a specialist in the HR department who directly supervised our students.

As a result of the use of a dual education system, specialists are formed who, after graduating from an educational institution, not only have a diploma in their field, but are also able to independently solve a wide range of professional problems. This teaching method significantly strengthens the practical side of the educational process, while maintaining a high level of theoretical training.
