Doctoral students of the Academy completed an internship in Turkiye.

Eight 2nd and 3rd-year PhD candidates studying in the specialities "Medicine" and "Public Health" completed their traineeship, which took place based on Marmara University clinics in Istanbul. During the training, PhD candidates got acquainted with the principles of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of patients in Turkiye, both at the outpatient and hospitalisation stages. PhD candidates visited two university clinics and departments: Rheumatology, Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, Algology, Cardiology, Neurology, Surgery, Resuscitation and Intensive care, etc. During the internship, PhD candidates got acquainted with local clinical protocols for managing patients, with the principles of keeping case histories and the rules for using the local AIS "Origo". Also, our doctoral students were lucky to become listeners of several lectures by the Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Marmara - Mehmet Tuncay Duruoz. We thank the administration, doctors and teaching staff of Marmara University for their hospitality!
