Development of higher medical education on the basis of international practice.

In South Kazakhstan state pharmaceutical academy at the Department of “Medical Biophysics and information technologies” and “Pharmacognosy and chemistry” Department there was held seminar at the international level. The seminar was attended by representatives of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia: head of the Department "Medical Informatics" Jaroslav Majernik and teachers Stanislav Balchak, Vladimir Medvec.

Jaroslav Majernik held a workshop on creation of electronic textbook. He handed in his experience, skill, art in the strict sense, through direct way and commentaries.

During his speech, he gave a link to the portal http://portal.mefanet.cz  created for public access for teaching staff of higher education institutions of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The portal Mefanet combines teaching and research activities of medical universities of these countries. Teaching staff, who attended the workshop, became interested in this topic because creating a single portal opens great opportunities for further exchange of teachers and students within the academic mobility program.
