December Event – The Beginning of Independence

This year marks the 37th anniversary of the December event, which occupies a large place in our history. In this regard, on December 1 in the city universal library. A.S. Pushkin, during the organization of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences, an educational event “The December Event - the Beginning of Independence” was held.
The purpose of the educational event is to explain the historical significance of the December event and to develop patriotic qualities among young people.

Isabek Sabit Kaldykozuly and Auelbay Meruert Asankyzy, who took part in the December event, were invited to the event and met with students. It is clear that the narrative memories of the invited guests had a great influence on the formation of patriotic qualities among young people. During the educational event, first-year students of the Faculty of Medicine presented their creativity and showed scenes from the events of December. Sabit Kaldykozuly presented the department and library collection with a commemorative book dedicated to the December event. The event turned out to be educationally impressive and educational.
