«Actual infections of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia in emergency situations»

June 20-21, 2024, according to the plan of scientific and practical activities of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024, in the city of Turkestan held the III International Scientific and Practical Conference «Actual infections of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia in emergency situations», organized by the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The co-organizers of the conference were the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Public Association on Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology.
The conference was attended by leading scientists from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Uzbekistan, Bashkortostan, Kyrgyzstan. More than 100 reports were delivered both in person and online, devoted to the most topical problems of infectology, epidemiology, parasitology, phthisiatry, antimicrobial resistance.

A separate section on Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever and other natural focal infections was organized, with participation of world leading scientists in the field of their study: Natalya Pshenichnaya (Russia), Hakan Leblebicioglu (Turkey), E.Kh. Eshboev (Uzbekistan), G.M. Khasanova (Bashkortostan), G.N. Abuova (Kazakhstan).
Active participation in the work of the conference was taken by the departments of infectious diseases of medical universities of Kazakhstan: KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, MUA, MUK, MUS, WKMU named after Marat Ospanov. With great enthusiasm the section of young scientists was held, where the winners of nominations of Diplomas of I, II, III degrees were determined. In the organization and work of the conference took an active part chairs of SKMA: infectious diseases and dermatovenerology, epidemiology, therapy.
At the end of the conference the excursion to the historical places of the holy city of Turkestan and Turkestan region was organized for the guests of the conference.
