Active cooperation of departments

Over the past three days, the Department of Dental Disciplines of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy has worked in the format of the international forum "Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan: the integration of student experience in education and practice."

The delegation of the Tashkent State Dental Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent) was headed by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Yarmukhamedov B.K. and dean of the master's degree programme department Rizaeva S.M., the group included master’s degree students from a Tashkent partner-university.

The guests presented interesting reports on topics such as indirect restoration of teeth, work with cofferdam, sinus lift and dental implantation, innovative training.

Workshops were eld on indirect tabs and veneers, work with cofferdam, the basics of dental implantation and practical sinus lifting.

Three days of the forum were active, productive, both for representatives of the Tashkent State Dental Institute, and for our students and teachers of the Department of Dental Disciplines. The parties found understanding on the development of a joint educational program.

The forum was successful and implemented the goals, such as the involvement of students, the relevance of international cooperation, exchange of experience, academic mobility of students, and teaching staff.
