ACADEMIC MOBILITY WITH FOREIGN PARTNERS

The program of virtual academic mobility of teachers of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry on the basis of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaeva has been finished.

The professor's S.K. Ordabayeva program consisted of lectures and webinars in the field of drug quality control. Methods of pharmaceutical analysis of drugs, derivatives of aromatic, alicyclic, steroid, heterocyclic compounds were discussed.

The lecturer described in detail the methods for obtaining biologically active compounds from natural raw materials, as well as methods for the synthesis of drugs, based on the results of which she eplained the problems of the purity of drugs. She mentioned on the physicochemical properties, physical constants, spectral characteristics of drugs and their identification methods. The audience was also interested in questions of both pharmacopoeial and alternative methods of assay. At the same time, the requirements of the Pharmacopoeia of the EurAsEC countries, which came into force on March 1, 2021, were raised.

Associate professor of the department A.D. Serikbayeva introduced the audience to the problems of chemical and toxicological analysis for a group of substances isolated from biological material by extraction and sorption. Students listened to lectures on general and specific methods of isolating medicinal poisons, as well as preliminary and confirming methods for their identification. In addition, the types of incoming accompanying documents, objects of research, modern methods of sample preparation, interpretation of the results of chemical and toxicological analysis were discussed.

The online lectures and webinars were attended by 3-4 year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, residents, graduate students, teachers under the leadership of the head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Chemistry of Medicines Muratalieva A.Zh., who expressed gratitude on behalf of the leadership of KSMA for such interesting topics, bright, informative presentations and pedagogical skills of SKMA teachers.
