Academic mobility of the teacher of AO "SKMA" A.N. Tolegen in KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarova

In the period from 8th February to 19th February of this year the teacher of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology Tolegen A. N. conducted lessons in the Department of Microbiology and Virology of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov in the frame of academic mobility. She taught the discipline "Oral microbiology" on the following themes:

1. Infection. Forms of infection. Methods of laboratory diagnosis of infections in dentistry. Immunity. Factors of nonspecific and specific oral protection. Antigens and antibodies.

2. Immunoprophylaxis and immunotherapy of infectious diseases. Antibiotics. Classification. The use of antibiotics in dental practice. Sterilization and disinfection in dentistry.

Lessons were held in English and Russian languages with use of the TBL, ITM methods for 2nd year students of the specialty "Dentistry".
