Academic mobility of the MUA to the Department of Infectious Diseases of the SKMA for 2023-2024

Nowadays, academic mobility between universities is not just a phrase, but a real key component of the educational process. It is an inspiring journey in which students seek knowledge and experience.
From 13.03.2024 to 01.04.2024 students of the 4th year of the educational programme "General Medicine" of Astana Medical University successfully completed a cycle in the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy in the direction of "paediatric infectious diseases". Students honed their knowledge at the department of "urban infectious diseases". Future young specialists got acquainted with the infectious diseases department of the hospital and enriched their theoretical and practical knowledge. During the exchange of experience students, professors of the department of infectious diseases and dermatovenerology, Ph.D. Batpa Erezhepovna and D.K. Sadykhova conducted lectures and practical classes. * During the practical skills training, the students visited the Practical Skills Centre and got acquainted with the Procedure of manipulations.
We hope that this experience gave the students invaluable experience that will enrich their professional development and prepare them for their future career in the field of medicine.
