Academic mobility of students of Astana Medical University

Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology since 20.03.23. to 04/05/23 accepted within the framework of academic mobility of 4th year students of the Astana Medical University, the group GMKG10-19 of the faculty "General Medicine", the subject "Children's infectious diseases".

Assistant of the department Sadykhova D.K. introduced the arriving students to the work schedule of the department, the clinical base located in the city infectious diseases hospital, and the department's own website.

The students had ample opportunity to supervise patients with various infectious pathologies, take part in the morning rounds of patients, develop examination skills, communicate with the parents of a sick child and with colleagues. The teaching staff of the department used interactive teaching methods, including the traditional Olympiad among GMKG 01-19; GMKG 02-19; GMKG01-19 groups, which increases the professional interest of students in the subject, creates an atmosphere of competition. According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners were awarded incentive prizes from the department.

Also, within the framework of academic mobility, a lesson was held at the center of practical skills. In addition to professional communication with guests from the AMU, a festival of national costumes, rituals and customs was held at the department. Students from the AMU highly appreciated the work of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology.
