Academic mobility of 4th year students Astana Medical University

The Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology from 02.05.23 to 17.05.23 accepted within the framework of academic mobility students of the 4th year of Astana Medical University, 2 groups of GMKA 10-19 and GMKB 10-19 of the Faculty of General Medicine, the subject "Children's infectious diseases". The assistants of the department Akhmetova G.Sh. and Zhorakhanova B.A. introduced the arriving students to the work schedule of the department, the clinical base located in the city infectious diseases hospital, the department's own website. Students had ample opportunities to supervise patients with various infectious pathologies, take part in the morning rounds of patients, practice examination skills, communication with the parents of a sick child and with colleagues. The teaching staff of the department applied interactive teaching methods, training, TBL, PBL, Standardized patient: SP – standart patient, analysis of a clinical case, a scientific project that increases the professional interest of students in the subject. Also, as part of academic mobility, a lesson was held at the practical skills center. Students from MUA highly appreciated the work of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology.
