About the working visit of rector of South Kazakhstan state pharmaceutical academy B. D.Seksenbayev to the Republic of Poland.

During  22-23 August, 2016 within the framework of the working visit to the Republic of Poland the following activities were carried out.

On August 23, 2016 South Kazakhstan state pharmaceutical academy (hereinafter - SKSPhA) took part in the Kazakh-Polish economic business forum within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Poland (Warsaw).

During the business forum a contract on cooperation was signed between SKSPhA and pharmaceutical company "Рolpharma" in the field of science and education.

On the part of university in the signing of the document the rector of SKSPhA B.D. Seksenbayev took part, from the company "Рolpharma" - the head of company Jerzy Starak.

At the end of the business forum there was a meeting of representatives of SKSPhA with representatives of the company "Рolpharma":

- head of "Рolpharma" Jerzy Starak;

- General Director of JSC "Khimfarm" (Shymkent) Jiri Urbanec;

- head of R@D of JSC "Khimfarm" Danail Donchev;

- head of the company "HerbaPol" in "Рolpharma" groups (Republic of Poland) Roman Gornyi;

- rector of Ljubljana medical university (Republic of Poland) Kazimerz Glowniak.

The rector of SKSPhA noted fruitfulness of the negotiations, stressing that SKSPhA, "Рolpharma" and common partner - Gdansk medical university have close links in education and science areas.

Gdansk medical university is a strategic partner of SKSPhA in the project "Modernization of medical and pharmaceutical education" of state programme of healthcare development "Densaulyk" for 2016-2019.

During the meeting they discussed issues of cooperation of SKSPhA, the company "Рolpharma" and Ljubljin medical university in the study of medicinal plants of southern Kazakhstan, prospects of galenic production development, and also issues of development of domestic production of full cycle medicinal products on the basis of JSC "Khimfarm" with the participation of SKSPhA and pharmaceutical cluster in South Kazakhstan.
