A series of webinars is dedicated to student-oriented teaching methods
On November 26, 2020, the first webinar was organized by the Department of Distance education technologies on the ZOOM platform. As part of a series of webinars planned for the SCMA faculty. Head of the Department of Emergency medical care and nursing A.A.Seidakhmetova prepared a lecture on the topic: "Student-oriented methods of teaching and evaluation", from the materials of the master class "project of social health insurance of Kazakhstan-SHIP" Modernization of the system of nursing education.
The purpose of the webinar: to increase the competence of participants to implement a variety of modern teaching methods and assessment methods based on competencies, to increase the ability of participants to critically evaluate and improve competence-based education.
The issues of developing a student-oriented approach, teacher approaches to teaching focused on learning, interactive teaching strategies, research training, and teaching strategies that promote the development of critical thinking were highlighted.
Examples of tasks are given: how to describe various methods of teaching and evaluating students, how to develop their own learning skills, and student-centered assessment. Examples in the training also concerned critical thinking, reflexive diary, promoting student self-reflection, assessments, and assessment methods.
