A great teacher of nation - Akhmet Baitursynuly

From April 19 to April 25, 2022, the Department of General Educational Disciplines and the Reading Room of the Library and Information Center of the Medical College at JSC "South Kazakhstan Medical Academy" held a week on the topic "Ulttyn uly ustazy-Akhmet Baitursynuly" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Akhmet Baitursynov.

During the week, a review was made of the life path and creativity of the teacher of the nation, video films were shown to popularize the worldview and its spiritual heritage of young people. The Department of General Educational Disciplines and the Reading Room of the Library and Information Center jointly demonstrated in the form of a video the proverbs and sayings of the teacher of the nation, winged words bequeathed to posterity.

During the Week, students wrote works about the life and work of the poet, recited the poet's poems by heart.

An employee of the library Kuanyshbekova E.A. organized a large-scale book exhibition on the theme "Ulttyn uly ustazy-Akhmet Baitursynuly" revealing the scientist's creative activity. The exhibition presents the works of the founder of Kazakh linguistics, a prominent scientist, educator, famous poet, who showed the power of words, a talented publicist, demonstrating the National example of the Kazakh language of the press, cultural figure Akhmet Baitursynov "Ak zhol", "Til tagylymy", "Masa", "Zhaktau". etc. reviews were made on the works born under his pen, and articles on the pages of periodicals, which provided readers with valuable information.

On the last day of the week, in honor of the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov, a polyglot "Tұgyry biik tulga" was held. Three groups took part in the competition: "Bilim", "Gylym", "Birlik". The head of the Department of General Educational Disciplines Sataev Amangeldy Toybolovich addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The competition was attended by teachers of the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages, the Department of Foreign Language Begimbet A. S., Kemelova G. M., D. A. Kurbanova. By the decision of the jury, the Bilim group took the 1st place, the Gylym group took the 2nd place, and the Birlik group took the 3rd place. The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas.
