A festive event called “Gratitude is my duty»
On the holiday that coincides with the first day of spring, representatives of other ethnic groups of Kazakhstan express gratitude to the generous and hospitable Kazakh people, who welcomed them with open arms during a difficult period. At all times, at the most critical moments of history, the Kazakh people opened their arms to representatives of other ethnic groups who came to the country by the will of fate, and shared a piece of bread with them. Thanksgiving Day is a day of respect for the citizens of the country who, under the leadership of the head of state, worked tirelessly to establish an independent Kazakhstan. Thanksgiving Day is a bright holiday of Kazakhstani patriotism, unity and friendship. The people of Kazakhstan celebrated this holiday for the first time in 2016. On January 14. 2016. President Nursultan Nazarbayev declared March 1, the day of the creation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, as Thanksgiving Day. For residents of Kazakhstan, the first day of spring begins with the word “Thank you.” The fate of each ethnic group in our country has influenced their religion and shaped common values and ideals. On this occasion, teachers of the Department of “History of Kazakhstan and Social Disciplines” organized a festive event called “Gratitude is my duty.” The main goal of the event is to explain the meaning of Thanksgiving to the citizens of Kazakhstan, who were forced at different historical times to migrate from their native places to the Kazakh land, living in harmony under one roof, overcoming difficulties together. and victories, instilling tolerance and developing respect for the culture of other peoples. The festive event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Students of different nationalities expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the people of Kazakhstan. Participants of the event performed folk melodies and songs and took part in national games. Students of group OM-10-22 Pasha Asuman and Malikova Anel performed the kui “Balbyraun”, the national dance of the Uzbek people was demonstrated by the dance group “Yalla”, the song “Gratitude” was performed by students of group STK-01-23 Bekmurat Balzhan, the poem “Thank you” was recited by a student group ZhMSB -02-23 Muhammad Muntazir, the song “Mereke” was performed by students of group B-FӨTKB-03-22 Iman Tolkyn and Malik Balnur, the national dance “Manipur” was shown by students of group OM-06-22, the dance group “Elite” danced a modern Kazakh dance.
The festive concert helped students get to know each other better.
During the event, foreign students of the academy got acquainted with new information about the holiday “March 1 - Thanksgiving Day,” the culture, customs and history of the Kazakh country. Gratitude gives a person strength, activity, and confidence in the future. Therefore, the youth of our country should always cultivate a sense of gratitude. Thus, Thanksgiving has become a celebration of different cultures and patriotism.
