A CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF SCIENCE WAS HELD AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL BUSINESS

President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, in his speech on June 1, 2022 at the anniversary session of the National Academy of Sciences, noted that "The development of science, technology and innovation is one of the key areas for improving the competitiveness of the country. We determine the priorities of domestic science in accordance with international requirements and national interests." Within the framework of the Science Day of Kazakhstan, a number of events were held at the Department of Organization and Management of Pharmaceutical Business. On April 13, a scientific conference was held, which was attended by faculty of the department, undergraduates, doctoral students. Scientific reports were made by undergraduates of the second year of study, who presented the results of their research concerning the improvement of various aspects of pharmaceutical activity on the basis of conducted marketing research. The topic of the reports was relevant and aroused the interest of the audience. Those present asked questions to which they received exhaustive answers.

On April 14, an exhibition of scientific achievements of students and teaching staff was held. The Department of Organization and Management of Pharmaceutical Business presented the achievements and results of research activities in the field of marketing research of students, undergraduates and doctoral students.

The most interesting for the audience were the works carried out within the pharmaceutical cluster on the basis of a doctoral dissertation on Foresight management, as well as student research projects on marketing research of the herbal medicines market. The implementation of these scientific directions will contribute to the development of the South Kazakhstan medical and pharmaceutical cluster, the acquisition by students of research skills and teamwork skills, communication of theory, science and practice.
