78th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Achievements of Fundamental, Applied Medicine and Pharmacy"

On May 17-18, 2024, in the city of Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan, the 78th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists of Medical Universities “Achievements of Fundamental, Applied Medicine and Pharmacy” was held at the Samarkand State Medical University. The opening ceremony of the conference was started by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.A. Khudayarov and the rector of Samarkand Medical University Rizaev Zh.A. The conference was attended as guests and made congratulatory speeches by the heads of famous universities and medical centers, such as Kuban State Medical University (Krasnodar, Russia), Xinjiang Medical University (Urumqi, China) , Samsung Medical Center (Seoul, South Korea), Megadenta company (Berlin, Germany) and others.

The international conference was attended by students and undergraduates from different countries – Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan. The conference was held in a multilingual format.There, the participants presented and defended their scientific work.

3rd year students of the educational program "Pharmacy" of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy at the conference presented the results of project-oriented training on the topics: Nurgalikyzy Anel "Phytochemical study of Ziziphora Bunge growing in Southern Kazakhstan", Myrzabek Aidanа "Gravimetric analysis of polysaccharides contained in the roots of chicory". Scientific supervisors – the teaching staff of the Department of Pharmacognosy: Orynbasarova Kulpan Kenzhebaevna, Ibragimova Zaure Ergaraevna, Abilova Arailym Armanovna.

Following the results of the conference, 3rd year students of the educational program "Pharmacy" of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Nurgalikyzy Anel and Myrzabek Aidan were awarded diplomas of the I and II degrees, as well as nominations for the Best scientific work

On behalf of the rector of the Samarkand State Medical University, a letter of thanks was presented to Myrzabek Myrzashevich Rysbekov, Rector of the SKMA.

In conclusion, I would like to note that the international conference provided an opportunity for young and talented researchers in the field of medicine from all over the world to participate in thematic sections where they could present their achievements, share their ideas and views, as well as meet with other talented young researchers who are ready to share their experience.
