X Annual All-Russian Congress on Infectious Diseases with International Participation in Moscow

Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology, G. Abouova and Associate Professor F. Berdalieva took part in the X Annual All-Russian Congress on Infectious Diseases with International Participation, which was held on February 26-28, 2018 in the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow. 

This forum aroused a wide interest of scientists, practical doctors, organizers of public health, students of medical universities from many cities of the CIS. Particular attention in the Congress program was given to new approaches to diagnosis, treatment and, most importantly, the prevention of infections in adults and children. 

Employees of SKMA made oral presentations highlighting the problems of zoonotic infections, brucellosis, that are topical in the South Kazakhstan region. The materials of the Congress published the theses prepared by the Department of Infectious Diseases in conjunction with interns and undergraduates. The invaluable experience gained during the Congress will be introduced into the educational process in the internship, residency, magistracy and FITUR.
