WORLD SKILLS REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP REPORT

From 23.09 to 27.09.2024, by order of the Department of Education of the city of Shymkent, the regional championship "World skills Shymkent-2024" on the competence "Medical and social care" was held. The regional championship "World skills Shymkent-2024" was held among students of medical colleges of the city of Shymkent in order to improve their skills in the specialty "Nursing".

A 4th year student of the SMIKB group took part from the medical college at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy-11-01-21 specialty "Nursing", qualification "Applied Bachelor of Nursing" Ashirali Zhanerke Maksatovna. The teacher of the Department of "Nursing-1" Abdigani Altynai Nurbekovna was appointed to prepare the student for the competition. The instructor was also included among the of the Regional Championship.

The regional championship "World skills Shymkent-2024 on competence" "Medical and social care" was held in 3 modules:
Module A. Hospital care for a patient who has undergone cholecystectomy.
Module B. Assistance to a patient diagnosed with acute bronchitis in a day hospital.
Module C. Home care for a patient with grade III hypertension.
According to the tasks in the modules, the contestants demonstrated theoretical knowledge and practical skills, the experts evaluated the checklist and summed up the results.

The student Ashirali Zhanerke Maksatkyzy took the 2nd place and became the silver medalist.
