Workshop on the theme "Interactive teaching techniques in contemporary higher education: teaching experiences of Newcastle university"

On 10 February, 2017 workshop was held on the theme"Interactive teaching techniques in contemporary higher education: teaching experiences of Newcastle university", organized by the head of the foreign languages department A.S.Sayfutdinova. The workshop was presented by the graduator of Newcastle University, who has undergone training in Europe under the program "Bolashak", teacher in K.A.Yassavi IKTU, professor, doctor of philological sciences Z.Sakhidzhanova.  Guests of workshop were B.Z. Doltayeva- Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, A.R.Zhaksybergenov- Head of the Department of Public Health-2, L.N.Magay-teacher of the Department of Public Health-2, K.E.Ashirepbayeva- Methodist, D.S.Zhumagaliyeva M.K.Shirinova-  teachers of the Department of Hygiene -1 and epidemiology, .A.Kozykeyeva- researcher of the Department of Pharmacognosy and chemistry, A.N.Aytymbetova - teacher of the Department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry and teachers of the department of foreign languages.

On the workshop were considered modern foreign teaching methods. Such methods as "Five-lined poem", "AT-table", "A three staged conversation", "A picture gallery", "Hot seat", "Poster" were recognized as the most useful methods of teaching.

The  workshop was held at the highest level and the participants expressed their gratitude to the organizer A.S.Sayfutdinova and professor Z.Sakhidzhanova.
